Masuria is an area in northeastern Poland. The name comes from the ethnic name of Polish settlers from Masovia called Mazurs, who resettled the area following the bloody conquest of the Old Prussian provinces of Pomesania, Pogesania, Galindia and Bartia by the Teutonic Knights. Masurian Lakeland are known in Polish as "land of a thousand lakes". The bigest lake is Sniardwy 106,6 km2. Wigry Lake, located in Augustowska Forest, is one of the biggest and deepest lakes in Poland. Wigry together with Czarna Hancza constitute ecosystems including varied habitats of different water organisms. Masurian is the paradise for sailors, hikers, anglers, canoeists and also photographers.

Tricity (also called the Treble City, in Polish Trójmiasto) is the metropolitan area consisting of the three Polish cities Gdañsk, Gdynia and Sopot. They are situated very close to each other on the coast of the Gdansk Bay on the Baltic Sea, in Eastern Pomerania (Pomeranian Voivodship), northern Poland. The Tricity metropolitan area has a population of over 1 million people. The thousand- year-old Gdansk is considered as the mostmonument-abounding city of the"Baltic Europe". Sopot has a great geographical location - lying between the beautiful woods of the TriCity Landscape Park, and the numerous sand beaches of the Bay of Gdansk. Sopot is known for its sanitaria and countless artists and tourists, who visit the city especially during summertime. Gdynia is a young, but quickly expanding harbor city situated just at the seashore, offering many tourist attractions as well as splendid shopping opportunities and a lot of entertainment. The city was founded as a Polish harbor in 1926. Because of its unusual location, you will easily catch great views of the sea and beautiful scenery.

Zakopane, Poland's premier mountain resort, is one of the country's most popular holiday destinations, both in the winter for ski-ing, and in the summer, for hiking and camping. The town called the Winter capital of Poland lies in the southern part of the Podhale region, at the feet of the Tatra Mountains, with the exception of the Karkonosze mountains the only alpine mountain range in this part of Europe. Zakopane is the biggest Polish centre of mountain hiking and skiing. The town is visited by about 2,000,000 tourists a year.
